Hannah Corbisiero

Hannah is the Project Manager and Webmaster of this project. She is also responsible for designing detachable chairs that hold sufficient weight and can be attached to the desk when collapsed, to enhance the usability in the lounges. Additionally, after completion of Senior Design Project she would like to have grown as an Engineer, gained leadership experience, and feel confident in applying the steps of the Engineering Design Process. She is planning on accomplishing this by creating a realistic and organized schedule with her team, ensuring the group stays on track, and putting forth the time, effort, hard work and dedication necessary for a great design.

Ishan Lyn

Ishan's responsibilities in the Modular Adaptable Desk project will include being accountable for the frame, height extension, and the final dimensions of the collapsed desk. The goal of the frame will include easy transportation and an extension that will allow the user to adjust the height of the desk. Individually, one of his goals is to ensure the desk can comfortably adjust from a sitting position to a standing position. He feels he design process will be a pivotal lesson for him as well as the rest of the team.

Victoria Yuknek

Within this project, Victoria's responsibilities will include the collapsibility design, extendability of the tabletop, and the mechanisms that will incorporate and connect each section. Her goals include utilizing and expanding her knowledge of four-bar linkages to create a compactable and portable design. Additionally, the tabletop should be able to expand to accommodate both individual and multi-person use for a lounge setting. The linkages and mechanisms should be compatible with each section created, such as the chairs, and be able to fit within the constraints of the overall design. The compactability of this design is crucial, so the mechanisms should be as minimalistic - yet effective - as possible. Overall, Victoria is looking forward to collaborating with her team to achieve our individual and collective goals and emerge as better engineers at the end of this process.
